localhost IP 입력했는데도 에러가 발생하는군요.

redhat 9.0의 경우는 말씀하신 상황에서 /etc/hosts 에 localhost를 등록하는 것으로 문제없이 SSH 접속이 가능하니, 다시 한 번 확인해보시기 바랍니다.

$HOME/.bashrc 등 사용자 스크립트를 확인해서 DISPLAY 강제 설정 부분을 모두 주석처리 하십시오. 새로운 사용자를 생성해서 접속을 시도해보는 것도 권유해드립니다.

문제가 해결되지 않으면 /etc/hosts 파일과 .bashrc 파일을 보내주시기 바랍니다.
