처음 깔아서 한번 사용해 보려고 하는데 잘 안됩니다.
제 pc 에서 tcp 포트 2000~2010,또 하나있고,udp 177 포트를 열어 주었습니다.
서버에서도 포트 설정을 해 주어야 하는지요..
ssh 는 접속이 됩니다.

우선 서버에 X Display Manager(XDM)가 구동되고 있는지
확인해 보십시오.
$ps -aef |grep dm
결과물 중에 gdm, kdm, xdm 등의 XDM 프로세스가 구동되고 있어야 합니다.이런 프로세스가 구동중임에도 불구하고 접속이 안 될 경우 FAQ 2, 5, 6, 7번 등을 참조하여 다시 한 번 설정해 보시기 바랍니다.

리눅스 에서 gdm 데몬은 실행되고 있습니다.
부팅도 X11 로 됩니다.
FAQ 에서 ipchain 설정하는 부분 빼고 나머진 모두 설정하였고 제 리눅스는 redhat 7.2 입니다.
/etc/sysconfig/ipchains 폴더가 없습니다.

보내주신 메시지를 보니 리눅스에서 PC 방향으로 TCP 6000번 연결이 정상적으로 이루어지지 않고 있습니다. PC 자체 방화벽 등을 다시 한 번 확인해보십시오.
또한 DNS 설정 오류 문제일 수도 있으니 /etc/hosts 파일에 PC의 IP를 등록해보시기 바랍니다.
문제가 해결되지 않으면 Xstart 프로그램에서 telnet 프로토콜을 이용하였을 때의 결과를 보내주십시오.
