File Transfer Using SFTP
SFTP is an SSH-based file transfer protocol. Compared to FTP, X/Y/ZMODEM, it supports a safer and faster file transfer.
To Receive Files with SFTP:
- Connect with a host from which to receive a file using the sftp command in the local prompt. [C:~]$ sftp hostname
- Receive a file using get command in the sftp prompt. sftp:/home/user21> get filename
