When I opened Xshell, I was told I need to revalidate my license. Why am I seeing this window?

RESOLUTION

We provide free licenses of Xshell and Xftp to our non-commercial users, and this license is only intended to be used for personal or educational use.

Unlike our enterprise licenses of Xshell and Xftp which may be used in offline environments, the free licenses must maintain an internet connection in order to be used.

If you are seeing this message, the software was not able to detect an internet connection. This message will not appear if you are connected to the internet.
