Xmanager fails to install, but no error messages are displayed

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Xmanager completes installation without any errors but nothing is installed.



RESOLUTION

This problem may occur when the MSI engine or InstallShield script engine is damaged or not functioning properly.


To resolve this problem, try upgrading to the latest InstallShield engine.

After upgrading to the latest Windows Installer, make sure the following files have been properly updated:

c:\windows\system32\msi.dll
c:\windows\system32\msiexec.exe


If the problem persists after upgrading to Windows Installer, you may have to use the System recovery tool in Windows.
