How to install and register the product in an offline environment
This guide is for users who are unable to download and authenticate online due to a lack of an internet connection.
1. Product Purchase
After purchasing a product online or through a reseller, you will receive your license information by email with a software license (PDF).
The number in the 'Product Key' section is the number used when installing and activating the product.
2. Product Download
Obtain the installation file from a PC with internet access or from a reseller.
You can download the product from our website here: https://www.netsarang.com/en/all-downloads/
Enter your ‘Product Key' under 'Existing User’ and click Download.
3. Installation
The installation file is a single file and installation is performed by double-clicking the mouse or pressing Enter.
There are no special steps involved during the installation process; simply click 'Next' to complete the installation.
(Some older versions may require you to enter a product key during the installation process)
4. Run Programs
After installation, a shortcut icon (Xshell, Xftp, Xlpd) or a shortcut icon folder (Xmanager PowerSuite, Xmanager) for each product is created on the desktop.
Run the program you want to use by double-clicking it or pressing Enter.
In the example below, we are running Xshell, one of the components of Xmanager Power Suite.
Since activation has not been completed yet, the message 'Not activated' is displayed in the title bar.
All NetSarang Computer, Inc. products require registration(activation).
5. Registration(Activation)
You can complete the product registration process when you first launch the program after installation, or by selecting "Register (Product)" from the "Help" menu.
If your PC is connected to the Internet, you can easily register your product online. However, if you are within a closed network and cannot connect to the internet, you must register your product manually.
For Xmanager Power Suite, activating in one component completes activation for all other components as well.
Since you are not connected to the Internet, select 'Offline activation' and click 'Next'.
Step 1. Generate a request file
Enter the product key in the Product Key field.
If the product key is pre-populated, it was entered during installation or previous authentication information remains. If the product key is different from the one you received during the purchase process, you will need to enter the new product key.
Click "Generate Request File" to generate a request file.
By default, it is saved as a file named request_[User name]_[PC name].xml in the 'Documents' folder.
Step 2. Get the activation file
Save the request-[PC name].xml file created in step 1 to a USB storage medium, etc., and proceed with step 2 on a PC with internet access.

- Your Email: Please enter an email address you have access to as information required for activation will be sent to this address.
- Choose File: Click 'Choose File' to specify the request....xml file created in Step 1 above.
- When you click SUBMIT, the information(file) required for activation will be sent to the email address above.
Step 3: Activate
You will receive an email with a response file:
Save the attached 'response_[User name]_[PC name].xml' file to a storage medium such as a USB, then move it to the PC where you performed step 1 above.
This response file is only valid for the PC on which the request file (request_[User name]_[PC name].xml) was created. For multi-user licenses, the activation process must be performed separately for each PC.
Select the response....xml file from the USB storage media, and then click 'Next'.
Click 'Finish' to complete the activation.
You will notice that the 'Not Activated' indicator has disappeared from the program title bar.
You can also verify that it is Activated in the Product About box.
