XShell 2.0 Beta issues

Tuesday, June 7, 2005 6:12 AM - D. Jarvis

I am trying this out, and using the Serial connection using a USB to serial converter (CablesToGo Port Authority), and I can connect fine, but when lots of terminal data streams back to the x-term, it aborts! This has happened several times. Is this a known issue? Doesn't seems to happen when connecting via IP.

1. Remote host is an F5 BigIP 1000 appliance running hardened version of Linux. Here is the 'uname -a' output: Linux ciibigip2.conway.prod.con-way.com 2.4.21-9.0.5.22.0smp #2 SMP Thu Jan 20 02:26:25 PST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

2. USB to Serial converter is a CablesToGo, Port Authority.

3. All I have to do is execute a command to stream data back to the x-term. Try 'find / -print'. Xshell blows up during the list!
