Hello,

In XShell 4.0 there is no encoding to choose GB18030.
There is only available:
Chinese Simplified (GBK)
Chinese Simplified (GB2312)

I have locale set on Solaris 10 zh_CN.GB18030 but in XShell there is no such encoding. So I see garbage characters.

Regards,
Daniel

Sorry about the confusion.

We see that zh_CN.GB18030 is the later and improved version of zh_CN.GBK. I have escalated the issue so our developers can take a look at this. zh_CN.GB18030 is currently not available in Xshell. Could you tell us how we can duplicate the issue?

Dear Tech Support,

What do you mean by "duplicate"?
Can you please clarify your question?

Kind regards,

Sorry for the confusion. I don't know how that line got in there. Our developers are looking into implementing this encoding in the future Xshell version.
