Thursday, October 13, 2005 5:31 PM - svn

Hi,

Trying evaluate new release 2.0 (not beta) to check, if issues I've mentioned in this forum resolved:

- proxy still not supported
- issue with connecting to pop3(port 110)/imap4(port 143) servers not solved
- setting delimiter for one-click selection work incorrect, if delimeter in first column

How to reproduce:

gnome>echo \"/usr/home/svn\"
"/usr/home/svn"
gnome>

try to one-click selection on "/usr/home/svn"
Xshell selects "/usr/home/svn
instead of /usr/home/svn

//svn

Thank you for reporting a problem. Patch for the delimiter problem will be release soon.

Proxy is not supported in Xshell 2.0.

Also, we will consider adding a feature for connecting to POP3/IMAP servers in our future releases.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

To access POP3 server with Xshell, please follow the procedure below.
  1. Start a local shell session.
  2. Click on the File menu, and then Properties.
RESULT: Default Session Properties dialog box opens up.
  3. Click on the Terminal tab.
  4. In the Advanced Options, select the ¿Echo typed character locally¿ and ¿Send CR as CR+LF¿ options.
Backspace key does not work when accessing POP3/IMAP servers. We will consider adding this feature in our future releases.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
