Local Windows commands in Xshell v5 [3]

Local Windows commands in Xshell v5

Thursday, November 13, 2014 7:37 AM - Shuai

Hi,

Is there a full list of local windows commands that can be executed from within xshell v5?

I tried ping, ipconfig, netstat, tracert and nslookup are all working fine but I tried to use "netsh wlan show profile" to list WLAN profiles on my laptop, it tells me
[C:\Users\test]$ netsh wlan show profile
The following helper DLL cannot be loaded: WLANCFG.DLL.
The following command was not found: wlan show profile.

It gave me proper result in the v5 beta though. I tried in windows CMD, and there is no issue with netsh command.

Please advise.

BTW, I am running latest windows 10 preview if that matters.

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

This issue does not happen on our Windows 8 and 8.1 machines. Do you have any other machine that you can try this? If so, please let us know if the problem persists on other machines.

If you cannot test it on other machines, we will try duplicating the issue on Windows 10 preview but this will take a few days.
