Corrupt or Invalid Signature when Installing from Microsoft Edge Browser/SmartScreen

Beginning January, 2016 Microsoft has enhanced their security policy and has deprecated the SHA-1 hashing algorithm and now requires SHA-2 signed certificates. You can read more about this change here:
Our line of software is currently signed with the SHA-1 certificate. Therefore, if you are using the Microsoft Edge browser, you may see warning messages stating that our executable is corrupted or invalid if you attempt to download and install directly from the browser.
To keep up with the industry standards, we are currently working on updating our signature to the SHA-2 algorithm. Until the update is completed, please use the following steps to install Xlpd:
  1. Download the executable to your computer instead of running directly from the browser.
  2. Run the file from the folder to which you downloaded the executable.
  3. If Windows Smart Screen displays a warning that the app cannot be recognized, click "More Info" and "Run" to install the program.
