Tab Group
A tab group is collection of multiple tabs. Use tab groups to neatly organize sessions. Only one tab from the tab group is visible at any given moment. To view and compare multiple tabs simultaneously, you must separate the tabs into different groups.
To Create a New Tab Group:
- Right click on the tab background.
- Point to [New Tab Group] and select a location you want to create a new tab group.
- Note
If you want to create a new tab group with an existing tab, you can drag a tab to edge of the terminal until you see the blue marker and drop it.
To Move a Tab to a Different Tab Group:
- Select a tab you want to move to a new tab group.
- While holding down the left mouse button, drag the tab to a different tab group.
- Drop the tab to a new tab group.
To Delete a Tab Group:
- Select a tab group you want to close.
- Right click on the tab group in the background.
- Select the [Close This Tab Group] option.
To Combine All Tab Groups into one Tab Group
- Select the Xshell window you would like to combine tab groups.
- In the [Tab] menu, select 'Merge All Tab Groups' under 'Arrange.'
